Cans for Care — Turning Empties into Impact

Every Massachusetts 5¢ can and bottle you donate helps the Friends of the Dedham Council on Aging fund programs and brighten the days of our town’s seniors.  Small change — big difference.

We already have collected over 21,500 containers, valued at over $1,000, since our kickoff weekend began on October 18th! Thank you Dedhamites everywhere for your overwhelming support for this fundraising campaign targeted at senior’s food insecurity! Your response has been gratifying and humbling!

Join us for our Round 2 Collection Cycle by bringing your cans and bottles (plastic and glass) to our Winter-saved 5-cent Containers Drop-off tent at the VFW parking lot, 84 Eastern Avenue, on Saturday, April 11th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Together, we’re building a brighter Dedham for our seniors — one nickel at a time.
