Please keep in mind that this local residential pickup service is for large quantities of MA 5-cent deposit containers, e.g., multiple full plastic garbage or contractors bags, of metal cans or plastic bottles in plastic bags and/or cardboard boxes for glass bottles. They do not need to be sorted. Clean containers are preferred but not required.
Friends of the Dedham Council on Aging has been conducting a successful Cans for Care fundraising drive since October 2025 by collecting over 20,000 MA 5-cent redeemable containers to date (1/15/2026). We are continuing these collections throughout the current year as part of our plan to support Dedham seniors in partnership with the Dedham Council on Aging.
