Instead, here is a powerful and easy alternative. You can drop off your empty cans and bottles (plastic and glass) at our tent at the Dedham VFW parking lot, 84 Eastern Avenue, on Saturday, 10/18, or Sunday, 10/19, from 11 AM until 3 PM. We will also be at the Dedham Farmers Market, First Church Green, on Wednesdays, 10/22 and 10/29, from 2 PM until 6 PM. When you do this, you generate a donation to Friends of the Dedham Council on Aging for the benefit of our seniors. It’s as simple as that! Start now and become part of our “Cans for Care” fundraising drive where every container counts — just like every senior counts!
